Walkers, volunteers and spectators welcome at this year’s 3-mile walk in support of The American Heart Association. The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary health organization dedicated to fighting heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases. With 22.5 million volunteers and supporters, the American Heart Association can fund innovative research, create stronger public health policies and provide educational resources to save and improve lives.  

Also while you are there be sure to check out Nationwide’s Make Safe Happen tent where families can learn more about fire safety, including the importance of smoke alarms, what they sound like, and what to do when they hear the sound.
